Today is Day 1 of the 21 day challenge with CoreLife Eatery. It’s not a diet, but a healthy lifestyle that eliminates alcohol, gluten, sugar and processed foods with exercise. What’s left? Lean protein, vegetables, fruit and lots of water. Oh and some intermittent fasting. This is what I need.
But why would I do this? Read on….
I’m active, moderately healthy and have had success with my fitness journey. But…..I have slowly started gaining weight and need to get back to my goals. I’m a certified group fitness instructor and certified in Zumba and Strong by Zumba. But I’m not teaching. I really feel that I need to be in the best possible shape myself before I can help others.
My goal is to get back to where I need to be physically and mentally. I plan to reduce my body fat and increase lean muscle over the next 21 days and beyond. Thanks to FACE it Fitness, we were able to get 3D Body scans to help us in our progress. I will say that my results were eye opening! I didn’t know what my body fat percentage or my lean muscle mass was. Now I do and have work to do! I’m more motivated now than I have been in some time. I am taking advantage of this mindset and running with it!
