Half marathon training – Week 1

I finished week one of my half marathon training! I was proud of myself for staying motivated to keep going even when I didn’t feel like it. I also did some cross training classes this week. Zumba and Body Combat are awesome!! The long run was on Saturday and consisted of 4 miles. This was an outdoor run and the only one that was tough. My heel pain started back from the plantar fasciitis. I had to walk more than run this one. But I did finish 4 miles and am proud of that! I’m looking forward to next weeks challenge!!!

  1. It looks like you’re off to a great start! One of my goals for July is to find a half marathon to sign up for in the fall, it’ll be my first and it’s kind of exciting kind of nerve wracking :).
